Hello all.

me and a posterThe previous update of this web site was a year ago, and things have happened since:

  • I was back to the Extreme Markup Conference in Montreal with another paper, and yet another new programming language. See the Conferences page.

  • There's been a minor update (release 10) to AFL -- Another Fun Language -- a new programming language designed to explore the relationship between different processing forms in programming languages.

  • I spent time this year working at Solace Systems helping them with their VRS/32-06 XSLT Transformation Module.

In the about-me category there's my resume and profile at the upper-left. And there's an article in the 16 November 2005 Tech Weekly section of the Ottawa Citizen newspaper, about the XML industry in Ottawa. (The link now takes you directly to the article.) I'm mentioned and quoted a few times.

The picture at the right's me looking as if I'm proud of one of my posters at the Extreme Markup 2005 Conference in Montreal. There's more pictures on the Conferences page.

There are still pictures from my trip back from Victoria after Christmas in early 2005.

Sam.
